It seems the disc isn't functioning properly. I was able to play clips with VLC and didn't notice any copy protection symbols. The presence of a "Compact Disc" label suggests no active protection. Trying to open it in VLC or WMP causes the laptop to freeze until the disc is removed. The video file works fine, but the disc itself appears faulty. If I check for a hidden "begin.exe" it just stops the machine. On my Discman it works, but I prefer using a PC. The disc is old and seems buggy. Edit: it does play this track! Same issue with "enhanced." So is the Limp Bizkit CD okay? Edit2: actually, Dr. Dre's version plays audio only, not video - Windows treats it as an audio file and doesn't play it, and VLC can't handle it either. How do you expect to listen to those fully?

You may find success testing it on a Windows XP system or virtual machine. It should handle both sound and data files. Performance varies based on the CD/DVD drive used.

Sure, I'm curious about using the Dre CD without an executable file—just five audio tracks. I haven't tried it before, or maybe I didn't remember.
