Hey everyone, I'm facing some problems getting past the BIOS on both my SSD and HDD. It seems Windows won't install or the partitions aren't loading correctly. My system runs Windows 10 Home on an ASUS ROG Maximus XII Hero WiFi motherboard with BIOS version 2801. The CPU is an i9-10900K at 10/20 GHz, and I have a 32GB DDR4 SSD plus a 4TB HDD. The PSU is a 1200W Enermax unit. I've tried everything—replaced the main SSD, installed Linux Mint on the second drive, and even attempted USB installation of Windows media—but keep getting errors, especially with the last one (code 0x80070057). I'm really stuck and considering swapping parts randomly. Any advice would be super helpful. Thanks!
For best results, connect via a USB 2.0 port. A 3.0 port may lead to problems.
I promise I always face this problem when trying to partition. Every time I attempt it, something new happens or an error appears. Right now, I can't click 'Next' since it looks grayed out for all partitions. I’m left with just formatting or making a new partition. I’m currently working on formatting the drives again and received this error code:
ASUS BIOS seems a bit unclear for me. It’s hard to locate the real method for enabling Secure Boot. There’s only a part listing secure boot keys and another for toggling UEFI mode. I also reviewed the error near the partitions, which says Drive 0 (HD) has an 'MBR partition table.'
