Hey guys,
I found an old PC in my attic, which was one of my brother's machines from back then. It's a DDR2 model. I attempted to overclock it by adjusting the clocks from 2.6ghz to 3.33ghz. After that, the PC would restart, but before I could enter BIOS again, it would restart itself once more and load into BIOS without the changes I made—back to the original clock settings. I've flashed it and tried various drivers without success. Someone mentioned it once ran with the cooler not installed properly, but I don't think the board is damaged. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it a direct jump from 2.6 to 3.33? It might simply be an extremely shaky overclock.
