I purchased this model and received it yesterday. After installation and powering on the PC, I heard continuous beeps. The system restarted and entered BIOS, which confirmed a reset. In BIOS I set the XMP profile to 1, saved changes, and exited. Now the PC restarts again, and in Windows Task Manager the RAM speed is listed at 2133 MHz. How can I increase it to 3600 MHz? Motherboard Gigabyte GA AB350M Gaming 3 CPU Ryzen 5 2400G PSU Corsair CXM 550W 80+ Bronze ATX

I understand it's a bit outdated, but the Qualified Vendor List for that motherboard (also somewhat old) only covers speeds up to 3200 MHz. https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/M...nnacle.pdf If you're concerned, official specs also indicate a maximum of 3200MHz.

Sure, I’ll give it a shot. I’m wondering if I can manually raise the frequency to 3200MHz. If possible, could you explain the steps for doing that? I’m still learning about overclocking.

Yes, a dropdown option should exist for 3200mhz. The CPU caps at 2933mhz via the memory controller, but achieving stability at 3200mhz is possible if you adjust the settings. You might be able to reach stable performance at 3200mhz depending on your BIOS/board configuration.

It's possible to exceed the CPU's base speed of 2933MHz; anything higher requires overclocking. I've increased my RAM past the standard limits for optimal performance.

Exactly where? In XMP you’re limited to picking "Disable" and "Profile 1." The BIOS displayed a view showing it was set to Profile 1, but the RAM was already exceeding 2133MHz. This is the scenario described in the spoiler.

Updated to F23, I understand there are newer releases but for upcoming versions I need chipset version 18.10.20.02 for F25 and 18.50.16.01 for F30. AMD’s site doesn’t list them, though I have Radeon Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.9.2 Sep12. When I attempted XMP profile 1, I encountered these Windows recovery messages. However, I can boot normally if XMP is turned off. Also, the BIOS indicated RAM was running at 3600 MHz.
