I accessed the BIOS a few days ago and noticed it seems to be saving data, though I can't shift the cursor. When I attempt to move it, it just stays fixed. The formula mentioned was for an A4Tech X7 mouse.

It's really tough to blame a BIOS driver problem since BIOS itself doesn't contain any drivers. (In fact, BIOS has never handled mouse input before—UEFI is required for that, but I'm assuming you meant something else) Often the issue lies with the UEFI not recognizing the mouse. Some people mentioned that updating the UEFI can add multiple mouse profiles so it works natively. Also, check that your mouse doesn't have a built-in ROM; for instance, the Logitech G600 has one, and enabling it might cause acceleration issues that the motherboard's UEFI can't handle.
