I accessed my laptop to a boot failure alert, didn’t dwell on it. I rolled back to the latest Windows 10 update and began using the machine. Then I realized the brightness slider remains unchanged—settings won’t adjust it, Fn+F10/11 doesn’t help, and power settings don’t alter it either. The slider appears but stays stuck at full brightness. I’ve tried several fixes: updated graphics drivers, reset to earlier Windows and drivers, downloaded Windows 11 from Windows 10, reinstalled drivers, adjusted power settings, used PowerShell to tweak brightness, and even reset the device. I also turned it off and on multiple times. Assistance would be appreciated.
