Dear all,
I recently purchased the Omen 15 with these specifications:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz
Installed RAM: 16.0 GB (15.4 GB available)
OS: Windows 10 Home
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
Issue: When launching the game, the settings default to 'High' and the display is set to 'Borderless' at 60Hz. My laptop supports a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Despite being a capable machine, I expect it to run Valhalla comfortably even in very high settings. Changing the settings to 'Very High' with a 144Hz refresh rate causes the game to request a restart (which is normal). After restarting, I return to settings and it reverts back to 'High' with 60Hz and 'Borderless' window.
I’m unsure if I’m doing something wrong or if I’m not utilizing the power settings correctly. I would greatly appreciate any advice or assistance.
P.S.: This is my first gaming laptop, and I always use the charger plugged in.
Thank you in advance.
