Hello guys.
I've searched a lot but I'm still confused.
I have a 16GB 2400mhz Corsair Platinum Dominator setup, which runs with my z87 MSI MPOWER MAX and i7 4770k. I'm trying to raise the clock speed to 2400mhz but it doesn't work.
I've done this several times and every time I attempt to boot, the system shows a message asking me to press F1 for setup or F2 to change the default BIOS settings.
I've already tried:
1. Configuring the XMP profile in the BIOS
2. Changing the BIOS setting to 2400mhz instead of "auto"
3. Doing both 1 and 2 together
Last night I searched for manual timing settings but couldn't modify it from "auto".
Here are some tips that might help you.

You're likely going to have to boost your processor's speed to the 4.2 region, adjust the memory voltage to 1.65, configure the timings, and try starting with 2133. Using a 2X8 GB configuration instead of four sticks would have made the process simpler.

You're likely going to need to increase your processor's overclock settings to the 4.2 area, adjust the memory voltage to 1.65, and try the 2133 timings first. It would have been simpler to use a 2X8 GB configuration instead of four sticks. This process seems quite confusing, especially since I've heard it's better to boost the RAM before the CPU overclock (actually, that's one reason to set the RAM at 2400 MHz for better performance).

if it doesn't run at 2400 then you should upgrade your processor and/or increase the voltage. I suggest trying to overclock the processor first, but that's not important.
