It seems the G-Sync feature isn't visible even though your laptop has a MUX switch. Check if the settings are correctly configured and ensure the display is properly connected.

The mux switch is unrelated to G-Sync or FreeSync. I'm writing about this on a G-Syncless Legion 5.

I have a similar setup (just a Ryzen 5 instead of an Intel CPU). It’s hard to confirm, but a 144Hz frequency suggests it supports free sync.
