Hello, I'm reaching out because my attempts have all failed. I feel exhausted, frustrated, and hopeless. I hope someone here can guide me toward a solution. As mentioned in the title, I sometimes struggle to click anything. The cursor moves smoothly, but I can't interact with it properly. The hover effect disappears when I try to click. I can still use the Windows button to open menus and navigate using the tab and arrow keys, even when clicking isn't working. This issue appears only on desktops or in desktop applications like Chrome and Discord, but not in games. It seems temporary, though it returns every few seconds.

I've found two temporary fixes: pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del resolves the problem, and opening an app that needs admin rights clears it for a short time. However, it reappears shortly after. Other steps I tried include running chkdsk, DISM, and various driver updates or reinstallations. The file explorer still takes 2-3 seconds to open, even on a fast SSD NVMe drive. The drive temperature is around 48°C, which is high but within normal limits.

I've checked RAM, CPU, and storage usage—none are at 100%, yet the issue persists. I've performed a clean and safe boot, but it didn't help. I scanned for malware, checked disk health tools, and even used Samsung Magician, but everything reported the drive as fine.

My PC has been restarted twice, with Windows reinstalled while keeping my files intact. After that, I completely formatted the system. Now it gets even more confusing... I couldn't click during installation, and Ctrl+Alt+Delete still works, though it doesn't during setup.

Please let me know if you need more details—I'm really hoping for a solution. Thank you in advance for your help.

Here are some suggestions: Consider exploring new angles or perspectives. Try brainstorming with a group for diverse ideas. Don’t hesitate to refine your thoughts as you develop them.

Thanks for your response. I appreciate you letting me know about the previous scans and the unusual behavior during installation. I’ve already checked for malware before and after formatting, tried two different formats—one preserving files and another completely wiping everything. The issue seems to occur even though I haven’t made any changes recently. I’m a bit concerned because it might mean the SSD is failing, though I’ve read that this could be a sign without severe damage. Since I can’t locate the exact source online and the scans don’t show critical issues, I’m trying to stay calm but keep monitoring.
