I used Linux Unity on my Acer n16Q13 with Crouton, but there are no WiFi drivers installed. I then purchased a USB to Ethernet adapter since my Chromebook lacks an Ethernet port. I checked for additional drivers but found none. This is the specific Chromebook model I own: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/ZA/content/mo....GM8EA.006

Linux driver support is inconsistent at most. It's unlikely you'll locate one.

You might be able to purchase a new WiFi adapter and swap out your Intel chip.
