Wow, thanks! I haven't installed Windows yet, but Linux Mint has worked out fine. I removed one RAM stick already. Regarding the buzzing sound in the RAM slot when the PC powers on, it seems normal at first. It was noticeable briefly after turning on, then faded but remained faint. The motherboard and RAM are still covered by warranty, though I'm unsure about the specifics since I updated the BIOS. It doesn't seem to void it. What should I do next? Any tips would be great! Thanks again!

It seems like the memory module or its socket might be the issue. You could try different RAM and slots to identify the problem, then consider returning the board or sticks if necessary. A buzzing sound is unusual for RAM itself and might relate to other components like the motherboard. You could test both sticks in the same slot to see if the issue persists.

Confirmed that one of the RAM sticks is faulty. Will send a replacement. Regarding the noise, it doesn’t appear to be from the RAM, but that might come up in another discussion. Thanks.
