Hi, I tried to update Windows 10 but it’s not working. The store asks me to check my updates and says I need to fix the connection or try again later. I’m sure I have internet, but it seems like the issue isn’t resolved.

Launch PowerShell and enter: shutdown /r /t 5 This initiates a clean restart after 5 seconds, functioning like a proper reboot. It differs from simply pressing the power button and selecting "restart." Once your system is back online, verify for updates then.

Just to check, are you wondering if you're experiencing any issues or confusion?

Click the start button in the taskbar. Enter "system information" and press enter. You'll see version details there. Also, verify your firewall settings, disable them temporarily, attempt an update, then re-enable the firewall later.

The firewall is disabled as well. Is this the version you were expecting?
