So four days ago forza wouldn't let me reach the main menu, I couldn't fix it, so I uninstalled it with the plan to reinstall it. But I can't reinstall forza anymore—it always shows this error "0x80072F8F". I've tried everything possible, including wiping and reinstalling Windows on my PC, but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

attempted resetting windows, adjusting time and date both automatically and manually, yet no improvement occurred.

I'm experiencing the same problem on my new desktop after reinstalling the OS. When using my cloud PC, everything works fine—apps and updates download smoothly—but on my freshly built Windows system, I can't download anything from the store or apply updates. I've tried using my shadow cloud, which allows app downloads via MSFT account, but with Surface Pro, the same issues persist whether I'm on the local network or hotspot from my phone. It seems to be affecting more than one device and isn't related to the network settings I've tested. One possibility is that the shadow server is located in another country, maybe a local MSFT server experiencing problems.

Hi All,
Just a heads up, it seems this might be a widespread problem:
