Hi Austin,
I’m having trouble finding the right tools or software to install AE2500 drivers on your Linux Ubuntu Gnome system. Could you share more details about what you’ve tried so far? I’ll do my best to guide you through it. Thanks!

I didn't notice that you're on a 64-bit Linux system.

The AE2500 lacks official Linux drivers since Broadcom doesn’t support their products beyond their stated requirements. Many Broadcom Wi-Fi chips don’t integrate well with Windows-only setups. You might use NDISwrapper to adapt some Windows XP drivers for Linux, though results aren’t assured. For a smoother experience, consider getting a device that ships with Linux support.

This involves setting up or adjusting the system. If you're not sure, consider avoiding Linux, learning through research and hands-on practice, or purchasing a compatible USB Wi-Fi adapter.
