Unable to increase RAM on your Minecraft server.
I was planning to upgrade the RAM on my Minecraft server because it's a mod server with many mods installed. Initially, I just increased the memory settings, but the system reported that the heap size wasn't sufficient. I checked online instructions and learned to download the latest Java from Oracle instead of the official Java site. After updating, I tried running the server with Xmx-4096M and Xms-4096M. The process failed with an error image. Later, I reverted to the default settings of Xmx-1024 and Xms-1024, but it still didn't start properly. Could you assist me?
The file was successfully retrieved from the Oracle website and began functioning.
I'm using Java 8 for the server side, but Minecraft is quite strict about it.
