Hello everyone, I'm facing an issue. XMP activation isn't working on my Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB 3600MHz. It loops for about a minute before loading Windows, and sometimes it starts in Safe Mode. In Task Manager it still shows 2133MHz even when XMP is on. I've tried switching RAM slots (2-4 to 1-3) and updated my BIOS. Should I run MemTest86? Here are my specs: CPU I5 13600KF, GPU ASUS TUF RTX 4070TI, mainboard ASUS STRIX Z690-A, RAM Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB 3600MHz, SSD Corsair MP 600 PRO XT, case Corsair 4000x AIO, power supply Corsair RM850 2021.

Check if a single stick fits the xmp profile. If not, it might indicate an issue.

I checked that and discovered the third position on my mainboard causes issues. It boots into a loop for a minute then keeps running at 2133MHz. What actions should I take? Also, why does Windows still crash even when no RAM is in the third slot?

It seems your system might need replacement. You may want to contact customer support for an RMA.
