Unable to drag-and-drop a file onto an application from the taskbar.
This might sound absurd to mention, but when I use Windows I always discovered the drag and drop feature where you drag a file and drop it into the app on the taskbar so it opens automatically. This has worked for years, but now Windows 11 has turned it off. How can I restore this functionality?
This has been happening for some time now, but Windows 11 has stopped the feature. Did the ability cease after an update? Just to note, I use Windows 11 version 24H2 and can still perform the action smoothly, but when the app is closed and I drag a file I know it can open, I'm unable to do so. This makes me wonder what version of Windows 11 I have installed. I found this video: https://youtu.be/5CEWqm5O7aw, but it's from three years ago and I'm still seeing the functionality work on my device, suggesting either a corrupted OS or an outdated version of Windows 11.
