The issue likely stems from using a product key for something that isn't supported, like an upgrade key, MSDN key, or pre-installed media. For MSDN products or Enterprise editions, visit the MSDN Portal or Volume Licensing Service Center. Upgrades and pre-installed media aren't currently available on the site. If you think your key is valid but you're still getting errors, reach out to Support for help.

Choose between downloading Windows 7 from another source or opting for Windows 10, since the latter will activate using the provided key.

There’s another issue with my laptop—it’s getting a bit outdated. It’s hard to distinguish between some characters, but is there any way to let the system recognize it itself? (In the software)

They say it functions, yet I haven't verified it myself...

When reinstalling on the same laptop, use the manufacturer's installation media. These are the simplest options and come with drivers included. They often include some unnecessary software, but you can remove them later. You can obtain ISO files from various torrent sites—even those that don’t contain illegal content. If you need to use keys on another computer, that won’t work. You can run any Windows version from 30 to 90 days for free. Win10 remains available even longer if you’re okay with a watermark and limited customization. There are also extended versions of spying software. Linux distributions can handle most tasks similar to Windows. MagicJellyBean is also an option. These tools aren’t problematic or restricted, so it makes sense to be more straightforward.

I just observed this. I’ll make my links clearer next time. I don’t want to appear as if I’m promoting something illegal. The link in question is ProduKey—it seems outdated, with a design reminiscent of an older Windows version.
