You should consider using an alternative activation method. Since you lack a valid activation key and budget constraints are a concern, look into purchasing a legitimate Windows 7 license or exploring free/open-source alternatives that support your system type.

Windows 7 is an older version, and buying it from KingWin might be outdated or less secure compared to newer options.

I don’t have the funds to purchase it anywhere (actually I’m a frugal teenager) and I don’t have a job because I’m just 14. I was thinking about upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 for free when I switch my computer.

Your device ran Windows 7, indicating a license key was likely stored there. Use that instead.

The license key isn't working on my system, even though I received the code.

It should function properly once it's already enabled.

Other factors were taken into account, but the main points are clear. There are two types of licenses—some linked to your specific PC and others that can be used across different projects (though only on one PC at a time). People have reported success with the former when contacting support. Still, it should be sufficient to obtain the installer. It's also important to remember that you can still install and activate Windows 10 using keys from 7 or 8.1 even after the deadline. Edited May 12, 2017 by Ryan_Vickers

You need funds for an OS but want to buy a WiFi adapter. Consider affordable options or free alternatives.
