Unable to disable Windows Real-Time Protection feature.
Windows operates intelligently, but this application aims to prevent users from accessing certain programs like Wanna Cry.
I don’t suggest doing this, but there are tools to disable it. Destroying Windows spying (DWS) aims to halt telemetry, auto-updates, remove undeletable metro apps, but it can also wipe Windows Defender. Be careful—it permanently removes Windows Defender, not just disabling real-time protection. I strongly don’t recommend this and I match @nerdslayer1’s view. Still, you have to follow through. Consider making a backup or creating a system restore point just in case.
You can turn it off, though it will only work temporarily. It seems someone set a group policy to prevent you from altering this setting later. The correct approach is to include the executable file and its installation directory in the exception list.
