Unable to delete GNU GRUB from Ubuntu or Windows 10 dual boot setup
I have a laptop running both Ubuntu and Windows 10. I recently chose to remove Ubuntu because the GNU GRUB Bootloader was bothersome, so I tried a tutorial that helped, but now I’m stuck with an error during reboots. I can type "EXIT" to switch to Windows, but I want the GRUB setup gone. After deleting the folder, it seems Ubuntu still exists somehow. When I check CMD, the Ubuntu/GRUB directory isn’t there, yet it should be. Anyone know how to permanently remove it?
You’ve lost your Windows 10 setup and landed in a tricky recovery situation. The message means the bootloader can’t find a necessary file, so you’re in rescue mode. To fix this, you’ll need to restore your system using tools like GRUB or a recovery USB. Make sure you have the right hardware and follow the steps carefully.
