I recently assembled a PC with strong specifications, and everything has been running well overall. The main issue now is that after launching a game I’ve been playing, my CPU fans suddenly increased to a high level (around 70-80% power). Despite the CPU temperatures staying below 50°C and hovering in the low 40s during gaming, it seems unreasonable for them to reach such high speeds shortly after starting. I’ve also tried tweaking the fan curves in the BIOS, but nothing has resolved the problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i have a 360 mm aio with 3 cooler master pwm sickleflow 120 fans connected through a splitter cable to the cpu fan header. the other fans, like the corsair rs120, are linked to system fan headers using daisychaining. i'm using an i7 12700k with an rx 9070xt and believe the noise mainly comes from the radiator fans.

You could try a software based fan control program is there's something interfering with your bios fan curves:
Fan Control - A highly focused fan controlling software for Windows
Fan Control is a free software that allows the user to control their CPU, GPU and case fans using temperatures.

I've already attempted that, but it doesn't appear to function. The fans are running at full speed, and the program indicates 800-900 rpm.

Can you share a photo of the interior of your case? Please include the radiator position, fan placement, hose arrangement, and the orientation of the case fans.

It seems you're wondering if the software from cooler master and corsair might be affecting your setup.

don’t have a picture yet, but I have a top-mounted radiator with fans arranged as exhaust, front intake, and rear exhaust. The tubes are closest to the front too. I’m trying to describe my PC setup, but I suspect this might be a software problem instead of a hardware issue because the fans are increasing even though temperatures are low.

i use an msi software that lets me control all the fans at once, even though they are from various brands. i don't have coolermaster or corsair software installed.
