Hello Community!
I just switched from Kingston HyperX Fury 1600 (2x4GB) to a Kingston HyperX Predator 2400 cl11 240 pin. I can't go beyond 1600 bus, which by default drops to 1333.
Please see my system specs below so I can help optimize and reach around 2200 MHz. My MB is limited, and XMP profiles haven’t worked for me. After booting, I got a black screen and the overclock failed error.
Thanks for your support!

Consider a slight adjustment to the CPU and observe if tit improves it.

The 3450 model seems unsuitable for handling 2400 DRAM, as I noticed one running at 1866 with adequate DRAM and MC voltage usage. For your CPU 1600, it might be the optimal option. The 3450 is designed for 1333/1600.

Thank you for your message.
There’s no way to reach 2200? My mainboard supports up to 2200 with OC.
Did I buy those memories for free?
How about adjusting the memory timings? Just want to boost the speed.
Thanks for your time.

the imc has consistently been relocated to the cpu package, and regrettably, should your cpu not support it, your motherboard becomes irrelevant in terms of memory performance.

Yeah, I get it. Thanks. My main concern is whether adjusting memory timings at 1600 might impact performance. If so, and if I can tweak the predators accordingly! 😄
Please help.

Start at 1600, proceed if stable, then attempt 1866, possibly followed by 2133 using manual configurations

1600 remains completely stable when choosing the 1600 profile in bios.

Start at 1600, check stability, then move to 1866 if needed, possibly 2133 with manual adjustments. Dramas frequency reaches 850 occasionally during app openings or gameplay.

Try 1866 with identical timing settings, DRAM voltage set to 1.6 and CR at 2T
