I think I’ve accomplished it. I stay away from touching anything and it returns to the beginning of the Windows installation process after a reboot, functioning as though I had never made any changes.

I checked it out and wasn't sure about the conversion. Trying to change the disk to GPT using the command prompt didn't seem to make a difference either way.

It might be due to TPM and secure boot; ensure they're enabled in the BIOS.

CSM is turned off by default, which means I haven’t changed anything about it. For the boot sequence, the only choice that appears in the menu is the USB drive with the Windows installer installed on it... so I can pick it, but it doesn’t stay in the correct position when there’s nothing else available.

Secure boot is automatically active by default, though I’m not certain about the exact mechanism. It seems set through a custom method rather than a simple toggle. A quick search for "TPM in ASUS BIOS" confirmed that accessing "PTT" already enables it, so nothing further has been changed recently.

It's conceivable the 2TB drive might be too large for booting alone. Many setups opt for a smaller NVMe SSD and keep the 2TB as secondary storage.

It seems unusual, but you could try installing Windows 10 first and then upgrading to Windows 11 with the license key.

I purchased the USB drive with Windows 11 Home on Amazon, assuming it would be simpler. Since I don’t have a convenient USB thumb stick, I might search for alternatives. The installation process seems more complicated than expected. Would it be worth trying if I can locate something suitable? Considering using an old SD card could help.

It could be related to the USB stick on Amazon, as this issue occurs frequently. Try using a different USB drive.

Sure, I’ll give it a shot. If it works, I’ll likely end up with a Windows 10 Pro key. I was planning on Windows 11 because I thought it would be simpler, but I had no idea it would take up about 80% of the time. Lol!
