Unable to boot into BIOS on VAIO UMPC device
I received the UMPC (Sony Vaio VGN-UX280P) and initially Windows Vista worked perfectly. However, I wanted to install Linux. After navigating to BIOS (f2) and enabling USB boot, I can't access the BIOS and it won’t start. I've tried various settings (alt f2, alt F10, etc.) but nothing works. The boot menu shows the Vaio logo briefly before going black. When I press the combination keys after a while, I hear beeps. I’ve removed the battery, used the power cord, and kept pressing the power button without success. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
