The reserved time might be up. This means you won’t receive Win 10 in the initial batch right away, but eventually. Honestly, it’s not too bad since big issues should be resolved after the first round.

Not connected to the current discussion, but Windows 10 will be free of significant issues prior to release. I'm using version 10166 and haven't encountered any problems. Just a note, Microsoft seems to fix bugs efficiently.

There are already over five million users testing the Insider Preview. You're correct, more devices will soon be joining in. I'm sure it won't work well on my Lumia 1020—though this is the Windows Phone 10 edition, not standard Windows 10.
