The update completed successfully, but the tray icon for Windows 10 reservation isn't visible. Check your system settings or restart to resolve the issue.

If you don’t find the Get Windows 10 app on your PC, possible reasons include: Your device isn’t current with Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 Update. Windows Update may be disabled or not enabled to receive updates automatically. You might have blocked or removed the required update features. Your system isn’t using authentic Windows. For more details, see the full FAQ at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-faq

These are the initial points to think about. It's also accurate that some users experienced problems not receiving the update for reserving windows. In my situation, I own a Windows 8.1Pro PC and a Windows 7 Home Premium laptop. Both were updated with the latest patches. However, my PC received the update while I reserved Windows 10, and my laptop with Windows 7 did not get updated, preventing me from reserving it. I checked repeatedly for updates, and everything seemed current; even after installing optional updates, nothing changed. So it’s not about the updates themselves but possibly an issue from Microsoft.
