You're experiencing issues with reaching the desired memory speed on your new PC. It seems there might be a mismatch between the motherboard support and the RAM specifications. Your Ryzen 5 3600 supports memory speeds up to 3200 MHz, not 3600 MHz. Make sure you're using compatible RAM that matches this limit. Also, double-check the motherboard settings for XMP or similar features to avoid boot issues.

Any Zen 2 CPU should handle 3600MHz smoothly, just update your motherboard BIOS and try again.

Welcome to the forum! While 3600MHz memory is 'supported' Anything past 2666MHz is considered memory overclocking so mileage can vary. In theory even a 3200MHz kit can even OC to 3600MHz but this depends on how the motherboard and CPU like the applied OC. It doesn't always work. I recommend manually OC'ing your RAM. But first check if your Bios is on the most current version. But for manual memory OC: - Leaving Asus’s EZ-Tuning Utility to ‘Normal’ - Turn OFF DOCP (XMP mode) - Then in Extreme Tweaker settings leave all CPU settings to Auto. - Set RAM to its rated speed. (IE set a 3600MHz kit to 3600MHz) Voltages: - CPU SOC Voltage – Manual Mode – VDDSOC 1.1000V - DRAM Voltage – 1.3500V (as high as 1.4500V may be required if not stable) - 1.8V PLL Voltage – 1.8000V - 1.05V SB Voltage – 1.0500V Try this and see if it works, as said you may need to boost DRAM voltage to get stable. Unfortunately, there is not guarantee it will work.

Hey there! Great job on making my day. Following your instructions helped—DRAM voltage set to 1.37 and it started booting at 3600. I’m not sure if it’s stable yet, but it’s working! Thanks again!

Use Cinebench R20 and 3DMark to check stability. If you encounter a blue screen crash with a Windows stop code, don't worry—just fine-tune the DRAM voltage in BIOS until it remains stable.
