You're using Raspbian on a Raspberry Pi 4 and can't adjust your screen's resolution. You've tried changing it via xrandr, modified /boot/config.txt, and used Screen Config Manager, but the display remains at 600x480. The FIXEDMODE option appears to be blocking changes. There might be another way to override this fixed mode or set a higher framebuffer resolution, especially with a DSI cable connection.

The xrandr command is incorrect. You should generate a new modeline and then set it for your display. For more details, see the X configuration page about persistent changes.
