I downloaded the newest NVIDIA drivers but they weren’t found. After switching to safe mode, Windows installed 512.15 drivers automatically, yet nothing worked. Consider checking your system settings or contacting support for further help.

Is your connection using HDMI or Display Port? Gsync is compatible only with Display Port. Additionally, what GPU model do you have? Gsync via Freesync isn't supported on GPUs from the 1000 series.

I'm connecting via the provided display cable, but it seems adaptive sync needs to be enabled through the monitor settings.

Activating features: 1) Review your monitor OSD menu, turn on adaptive sync, it should display as expected. 2) Launch Nvidia Control panel, select G-SYNC / G-SYNC Compatible, use fullscreen for best results; windowed mode may behave oddly. 3) Activate the indicator (shows G-SYNC status in the upper right corner). (Each driver update disables this setting... I prefer keeping it on manually.) 4) For a quick test, try the G-SYNC Pendulum Demo: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/community/demos/
