I recently shared a folder on my Windows PC and attempted to access it from my Samsung phone using the My Files app. The app supports connecting to network drives, but my login details aren’t working. I tried using a Microsoft account and a local username, but the password and username requirements aren’t being met. I don’t want to set up a local account or disable the password prompt. Can you help find a solution?

No, I'm not using that format as a username.

You're currently using the Android version of Total Commander to access Windows shared folders without any problems. Double-check that your login details are accurate and that the shared folder has the appropriate permissions.

Checked all options—Microsoft account, PC name, username, local name. Still no success. Used Fe File Explorer but got access denied.

I can check it when the password option is disabled. But I’m not sure about doing that, so I’m looking for another way.
