I'm suspecting a ground loop exists between the monitor and the PC.
I'm noticing a consistent method to access the BIOS using the Shift key + Restart from the start menu. Once there, pressing Space during the black screen restarts the PC and shows an Asus prompt with a Delete option. Holding the Delete key during memory training prevents the screen from appearing. This process seems to work with both the premium Asus monitor and board, suggesting a potential compatibility fix from Asus.
I noticed that turning on the BIOS compatibility feature in the BIOS resolves the problem. Now I can view and use the BIOS along with the Windows Advanced Options menu on my Asus PG329Q monitor. Still, a standard Asus motherboard and monitor should function together without any compatibility issues.
