Unable to access BIOS settings for ASUS TUF X570-Plus—expected behavior when pressing "del"
Failed to access BIOS settings on ASUS TUF X570-Plus. Likely a hardware or design problem. Adjusted RAM speed slightly above 3600 MHz, but still couldn't enter BIOS. After several attempts—hard reset and pressing "del" from the start—I finally saw the screen: "Press F1 to adjust the setting..." It worked once, though it was a long shot.
You were experiencing an erratic overclock, which explains the failure to boot into BIOS. At this stage, the only option is to reset the CMOS.
The team attempted to enhance memory performance at the chosen frequency but encountered repeated failures. Defaulted to standard RAM speed, then executed a POST with an error notice. As expected, no major issues detected.
I test the same setup and haven’t encountered this problem before. It might be related to the BIOS adjustments or RAM speed you configured. Were there any other changes besides the RAM speed? Also, which BIOS version are you using? The board had a few minor issues that updates have fixed for me.
I only adjusted the RAM clock settings. By the way, this tweak was done to address my display freezing issue—something that occurs occasionally. My BIOS info (from the BIOS screen): 4022, date: 10/19/2021. On the ASUS site it shows 12/14/2021, and the latest version listed is 4403 from 2022/05/31. Wonder if upgrading the BIOS and chipset drivers is necessary? Thanks a lot! CPU: Ryzen 7 5700G
