I had to reinstall the operating system on my uncle's computer since it lacked System 32. Once I finished and verified it was functioning, I returned the PC to him. He called me later saying it still wouldn't work. I went over what was happening and discovered the BIOS didn’t boot properly—showing the Windows 10 logo with loading dots—but it wouldn’t progress further. I attempted to adjust settings in the BIOS but couldn’t access it because the PS2 keyboard wasn’t recognized (it seemed to flicker briefly at startup). I also checked the CMOS battery.
