Hello everyone, looking for help! I recently made my second build and having some trouble. Windows works perfectly (Windows 10) but when I try to boot the UEFI I don't have video output, my motherboard BOOT LED is on but no video on monitor. I tried plug to the GPU with different cables (HDMI, DP) but nothing, I tried also onboard graphics but nothing. When I unplug my GPU and plug the HDMI to the motherboard it works. I tried rienstalling the GPU Drivers with no success any ideas? My build: Intel i9 14900KS Aorus Pro X z790 LGA1700 4x Corsair Dominator Titanium (2x 16GB, 7200 MHz, DDR 5) GTX 1080 G1 (From my previous and first build, waiting for the RTX 5080)

I believe this refers to a guide on converting an existing Windows 10 installation.

This occurs after the BIOS/UEFI setup, so it won’t affect your ability to view the BIOS screen. You may want to give it a try, though it’s unlikely to help if HDMI isn’t working either.

sounds like you have a igd peg conflict. remove the graphics card. see if it works with just the onboard graphics. get it to a stable updated build from there. then treat the graphics card as a seperate upgrade. report back with problems also check your hybrid graphic settings also in goofing aroud w my own rigs sometimes it helps to have both the onboard hdmi, and external dp plugged in to the same monitor, hdcp has a weird glitch that will sometimes block out the dp on the external. so you have to like remind it its the s ame monitor or something dunno the details but for some reason using hdmi and dp at the same time same monitor, will help it recognize the external card as a seperate input may be the case that the external graphics havent taken primary position in the boot sequence yet and its sending signal to the default internal first, who knows im just offering it as a quick cable swap chekc

Verify the BIOS settings for your Primary Display Output adapter. It can be configured as onboard, discrete, dedicated, or PCIe. You mentioned a preference for Dedicated PCI/PCI_e, but it appears it may default to onboard or both. This setting will redirect the display to your graphics card rather than the onboard ports.
