To run the new battlefield beta, I need to start in UEFI mode instead of legacy. After updating my BIOS and trying to turn off CSM, the M.2 drive isn’t working as a boot option. It seems the issue might be from cloning an old SSD to the M.2 during the upgrade. I’m curious if it’s possible to add the UEFI driver or partition later, or if I’d have to reinstall Windows 10 (or upgrade to 11). Details: Motherboard – ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F; BIOS version – 3621; Drive – Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB; CPU – Ryzen 9 3rd gen; RAM – 32GB (brand unknown); GPU – RTX 2070.

This week I've noticed many similar queries about UEFI setup on old Legacy systems. People are struggling because their drive uses an old MBR partition table. You'll need to change it to GPT, then CSM can be turned off and Secure Boot plus TPM activated. There are plenty of guides online explaining the fix, but I'm here to help you get started.
