I moved to Windows 11 and faced a new issue. My screen keeps flickering uncontrollably *see video*. I reinstalled the display drivers for my laptop (ASUS Zenbook 13 UX331UA) which has an i7-8550u with UHD 620 graphics. The two ASUS drivers I have are 27.20.100.8682 and 26.20.100.7325. Both lead to the problem. I can use the "Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor Drivers" which stops the flickering, but it doesn’t allow brightness adjustments and feels unstable. Windows Update isn’t helping. Can I try using drivers from another laptop model with similar specs? Any advice would be appreciated. 20230620_171416.mp4

Visit Intel's official site for the drivers: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...ndows.html
They provide clear compatibility information to help you choose the right version.

I attempted this and received a warning stating your device uses a manufacturer-specific driver. Would you like to explore options for updating it or finding an alternative solution?

Unfortunately, I've never encountered that before.

Hey, did you resolve it? I’ve had the same problem with my Intel UHD 620. I’ve installed various drivers, tried Windows 11, but the issue persists. It also happens with Windows 10 22H2.

I haven’t discovered a solution yet. I’ve identified a temporary workaround by changing the refresh rate to 48Hz instead of 60Hz. It doesn’t cause any flicker when switching the display. I’m considering a factory reset as a final option if needed.
