I just set up Linux on my desktop and am struggling to get the mouse to function properly. I’m stuck using only the keyboard, even after updating everything and the kernel. I’m also unsure how to install Corsair or any other tools that might help. Windows 10 has been giving me headaches lately, so I’m hoping to move fully to Ubuntu if this issue gets resolved. Any suggestions would be super helpful.

Sure, I've encountered similar issues with Corsair peripherals on Linux systems too. Since there are no available drivers, it's understandable that the problem persists. If you're open to alternatives, I'd recommend considering a standard mouse instead.

Thanks for the information. It seems the mouse is the only problem, not the keyboard. Unfortunately, I can't exchange it since I don’t want to return it. I bought it recently from a refurbished sale on Corsair’s website.

I've used a corsair scimitar across various distributions—though it's been several years, so newer versions might be the problem.
