Ubuntu is restarting with a recovery journal after the system upgrade.
I've upgraded my graphics card (from GTX 970 to RTX 2070), installed a 1TB M.2 SSD, and added a 650W bronze 80+ PSU. I also adjusted the SATA cable placement. Any changes? I'm also using dual-boot, and my Windows partition works fine. Ubuntu is refusing to boot and keeps saying "recovering live journal".
I attempted to execute the process, but only received a brief summary. The output indicated variations between the boot sector and its backup, mentioned six passes, and noted the file system was read-only.
I understood how to resolve the issue. I discovered on Stack Overflow that installing the NVIDIA drivers was sufficient.
It seems you needed to refresh the software to enable RTX compatibility, since the built-in Ubuntu drivers aren't up to date.
