They mentioned it but aren't very experienced. I can set up a connected link temporarily. Should we remove those files and reinstall it then?

Start by executing the update commands to refresh the system. Next, clear the NetworkManager configuration files. Finally, reinstall the network-manager package with force options to reset settings. After completion, restart the machine.

I'm not sure, it seems like everything is set up correctly and you've restored the default settings. Have you attempted to assign a fixed IP address?

Full RTL8125 compatibility was introduced in Kernel 5.9. Consider upgrading your kernel and installing the newest Linux firmware tree.

We can't fully fix the Ethernet problem, so I'm reinstalling Ubuntu and downloading the required drivers via a connected session. I'm hoping this will work without any unexpected failures.
