I connected a second monitor to my PC today. It functioned initially. Because I don’t need it continuously, I turned it off and changed the display settings to use only my HDMI output. Now the DVI connection is no longer usable as long as the HDMI is active. To be sure, I can view both in the settings, modify them, and when I click "apply," the screen refreshes quickly. However, no image appears, and everything resets. A picture appears briefly before logging in. What should I do about this on Ubuntu 18.04?
