Ubuntu 14.04 for Nintendo Wii
If you are interested you can find more info and the download here https://github.com/Wiibuntu/Ubuntu14-Wii But here will be the gist and basics. This is, for now, an unstable version of Ubuntu 14 Running on the Nintendo Wii, Right now is just proof of concept and is OFFLINE ONLY. The only thing holding it back from the internet is the b43 Drivers. They work enough to detect the WIFI card, But not enough to make it work. Installing: In the download section you will find a .img.gz file. That file will contain a .img file with two partitions: a fat32 partition and a ext4 partition. The fat32 partition will contain the Linux loader for the Homebrew Channel. Just flash this image to an SD Card (8GB or more needed!) Booting: You will load up the homebrew channel to see its empty, thats normal. Simply press the home button and click "Launch BootMii" That will instead load a bootloader known as Gumboot.
