I just installed uBlock Origin in Chrome and wanted to know if it includes malware lists such as ABP.

still using ABP but discovered they’re getting kickbacks from Google now. That’s frustrating since Google Ads are already annoying enough. I’m checking if UBlock Origin covers all ABP features so I can remove it. If not, I’ll just keep running both.

You have the option to turn off the advertisements, including those from Google.

ABP recently came under the ownership of an unidentified organization. It may take some time before any changes happen, so I’m taking a cautious approach. Others mentioned that uBlock works better by making ads believe you viewed them while using fewer resources.

You can find the malwarelist in uBlock directly. It contains significantly more entries than what ABP provided.
