Ten days back my email and passwords were compromised. The intruder got into my LinkedIn, EA Games, and Ubisoft profiles that lacked two-factor authentication. I’m working to regain my Ubisoft account, but support insists on proof of ownership like a deed. After the hacker altered my login email, I got a message there. I’ve completed the recovery form several times, provided my username and the original email used to set up the account, yet Ubisoft is dismissing all of it. Throughout the years, I’ve bought games using this account with my card, but they’re now requesting activation keys. Even when I shared my Steam username, they want the purchase history for games I claimed in giveaways. Help is needed.

We should anticipate their capabilities clearly. Ubisoft is the sole entity capable of recovering your account. Should you fail to meet their proof-of-ownership criteria, another individual is limited in what they can achieve.

You require solid proof of ownership. Simply stating you have access isn't sufficient. Have you shared the order confirmation codes or receipts for the games?

This situation is repeating for me too—I got hacked and my accounts were unlinked. I shared all the proof, receipts, screenshots, CD keys, usernames, and emails. They refused to assist in recovering my access, claiming they’re acting for security reasons. It doesn’t make sense. What was your move? My games on Steam require an Ubisoft account, but support is refusing to help. I asked what else they need, and they didn’t answer, just saying, “Hmm, we can’t help you. Sorry, you didn’t provide enough info.”
