They’re relying heavily on a beta test, which gives them confidence in a smooth launch by Tuesday. The main concern is whether enough interest will exist to avoid server problems on launch day. There’s also skepticism about their handling of potential issues and the reaction if things go wrong. It seems like a risky move, possibly intended to provoke a strong response.

The beta performed adequately, though participation was limited.

Well the beta was already quite good, what could possibly go wrong with a game where all you do is drive around

It would have been better to acknowledge potential problems and do everything possible to ensure a seamless launch, so they wouldn’t be left with any issues. But now, if anything fails, this person will be responsible for the mistakes.

Despite my reluctance, I won’t be purchasing it after the recent Ubisoft releases have caused confusion. The Crew could still succeed without any issues.

Most major titles relying heavily on servers have faced problems recently, spanning months or even years. Take the newest WoW expansion and the upcoming GTA V launch as examples. It’s not always a bad game, but server issues at launch are common, making it unreasonable to claim they’ll never occur.

Suggesting it won’t be a rocky start, but I’ll trust you once I see it...
