I couldn't locate that information. It seems the disk version isn't directly linked to Steam purchases, though it might work with other platforms like Uplay.

Available only for Uplay at the time, though you can still include it in your Steam collection by selecting "Add a non-steam game."

You'd prefer having Steam track your gaming sessions instead?

Ubisoft and Origin should step away from Steam to avoid making their experiences harder due to imitation attempts.

I've attempted this with my retail Crysis Maximum edition, ME1, and ME2 versions. However, Steam didn't recognize the keys back then. At that time, Origin wasn't available, and now I've added those titles to my Origin account. Honestly, I'd prefer having them on Steam since you purchased the game on one platform—why not have it across all your accounts? It feels like they're forcing multiple purchases.

Do the correct choice and avoid purchasing Ubisoft titles unless you're getting them at extremely low prices or used copies. Ubisoft isn't earning much from players at the moment.

I fully understand. Yet I remain interested in playing their games...
