I purchased the Far Cry 4 Gold edition a couple of years ago, but I've struggled to progress beyond the prologue. I repeatedly contact support, only to get the same response—seemingly convinced my computer is entirely at fault. The issue I face is that the game lets me play through the prologue, but once it transitions to the next level, the screen remains black, even after hours of play. Ubisoft support appears to assume my PC is the problem. After testing on more than five different systems that meet the requirements, I’ve checked all my Windows error logs, but none point to Far Cry 4. They also suggest I might be running the game with both Integrated and Dedicated GPUs active, though they clarify that Integrated is for secondary monitors while Dedicated is meant for my main display. Any suggestions? My CPU is an i7-6700k at 4.6GHz, motherboard Gigabyte Z170X-UD5, 32GB RAM with Corsair LPX at 3000MHz, GPU is an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW at 2.1GHz. I use a case called Enthoo Pro M, storage OS is 850 Pro with 256GB games installed, plus a 1TB WD Blue and two 840 Pro 256GB RAID PSUs from Corsair. I have an Asus MG278Q at 2560x1440 at 144Hz, a Corsair H100i keyboard, a Razer Blackwidow Chroma mouse, and Hyper X cloud II with a separate speaker system.

Often, the majority can fix these by trying different approaches. This is why they suggest testing something you think isn’t working. They assume your system might be the cause since the game functions for others, but differences usually stem from hardware and drivers. Try using a single monitor, disconnect the MB display, and verify your drivers—GPU, chipset, USB, SATA, etc.—to rule out the root cause.

I wouldn't think they're worthless if I didn't believe it. I've tested on several platforms, using the latest and updated drivers. I've set up Windows at least six times each on 7 Pro and 10 Pro to see if it helps. I even tried it on a friend's machine that owned the game, but only worked when logged in. I've followed every tip they gave me and still faced the same issue. Every time I reopen the case, they ask me to repeat the exact same steps without changing results.

Almost functional but identical. I tested it at 720p around 10-20 frames per second.

I've already tested multiple computers and five different GPUs. This includes a GTX 670, 960, 1080 Ti, 1080, plus several integrated GPUs.
