It appears many users exaggerate issues and shift blame onto technical problems instead of acknowledging personal factors. Compensation doesn’t seem necessary; the real challenge lies with the customer base, not just their devices.
They’re probably frustrated because they want everything to function properly, not just to avoid a flawed DLC. It looks like other companies are also paying attention.
Optimization issues appear in several games. Many discussions seem focused on graphics problems and company shortcomings instead of meaningful conversations about the titles. There should be accountability if developers break promises—offering alternatives like season passes or refunds works. If they canceled a commitment before making it available, that’s acceptable. Still, people need to take responsibility; complaints about delays in games like GTA V are excessive when players still desire fast performance.
Of course we don’t deserve any compensation. The issue is that if they make promises to customers and advertise them as sales, they shouldn’t dismiss them without consequence. It’s about integrity here—though it may not be a major matter, repeated disregard could cause bigger problems. Customers have already paid for what they agreed to, so they should make up for any shortfall when it doesn’t happen. A small gesture, like a free game or a modest discount, would go a long way and demonstrate their commitment.
It seems like you're suggesting a disagreement that might not be mutual.
Is it acceptable when publishers break their commitments made during a sale and then claim regret, asking us to simply accept the outcome?
I'm really happy my post reached many spots—it's great that folks are still finding it!
