They're doing their best, since appearing weak isn't simple.

Threatening people is unacceptable, especially when driven by political goals. If it falls under terrorism, then yes—it can be labeled as such. However, those individuals are a small group and don<|pad|>, not the entire community. Should every Muslim be labeled a terrorist because of the behavior of a few?

You bring a valid observation but overlook the broader context—using your analogy, the entire Muslim faith isn't solely about violence against Americans, just as Gamergate focuses on women in gaming journalism. Terrorism isn't limited to killing; it encompasses more than that. The Gamergate movement mirrors the core idea of terrorism by targeting lives unjustly. While not all are as extreme, many share a similar intent.

I won’t discuss the arguments surrounding gamergate or its outcome. I don’t back either side. Still, I have friends who share my views, both men and women. I often take on their perspective for them. But trying to group them together like people who carry weapons is problematic. Labeling them as dangerous or violent would be unfair. People who cause harm to millions worldwide are clearly misguided if the government is fighting terrorism. Should supporters of gamergate hide? Should they face the same laws as those targeting terrorists? Maybe over time, the concept of terrorism has shifted to more extreme actions, reducing the term to just a few groups. Ask someone from today’s generation what they think a terrorist is? What would they say? What would a government classify as a terrorist? How would a victim describe being targeted by such individuals? According to the dictionary, his words had some truth. Yet in my opinion, many would agree the definition has changed and his statements were misinterpreted. Since most gamergate backers haven’t acted, they shouldn’t be labeled terrorists under any standard. Believing something is wrong doesn’t justify calling someone a terrorist. I could argue he meant it non-violently, but since he didn’t call them terrorists, his warning about not negotiating with them seems to belong mainly to governments dealing with the most extreme cases.

Other updates... In Far Cry 4 players can see through walls. Haha, Ubisoft fixing the issue where enemies could spot us in the original game. Ubisoft!

It's unclear if it's a game mechanic or a bug, hard to say these days.
